There aren't any dimensions on the website for the necks so can anyone tell me if the jazz necks are 37mm, precision 41mm and if they would correspond to Fender necks - eg modern C, shallow C etc? or are they completely different? I can go between different necks no problem but struggle with super slim Ibanez necks so just want to get a feel for what they are like before picking. martthebass Posted June 28, 2021 Share Posted June 28, 2021 Swapped a Jazz neck on an MIM for a Status J a few years back. Found the profile was exactly the same as the neck it was replacing. At the time I had 2 MIM jazzes and found the heel a little too tight in one of them, a1996 model (so would have needed a bit of a fettle) but perfect in the other a 2003 model.
