What impedance of cabs required for Bugera BV1001M head?

Hi guys,

Really interested in the Bugera BV1001M bass head (2000w but from what can gather more like 500-800w!) and have got my eye on 2 x Ashdown RM210t cabs but have a question - would two of these 300w cabs at 8ohms work with this head?

I have the Bugera and it's ridiculously good for the money, and louder than you're ever likely to need. As Phil says above 2x4ohm cabs is perfect. That's how I run mine and it sounds monstrous.

Corrected. It's 2x8 Ohm cabs. 🙂

Using my BV1001T during practice at Pirate Studios, it’s been coupled with an 8ohm Ashdown ABM 4x10 and have to say, it’s monstrous!

Yup. Sorry. My mistake. 2x8ohm cabs, totalling 4 ohms. 👍
