stewblack Posted March 4, 2021 Share Posted March 4, 2021 Hi, as the title suggests I have four speakers, each one rated 8 ohm, and wish to wire them in such a way that they will be safe to use with an amp which has but one output. Killed_by_Death Posted March 4, 2021 Share Posted March 4, 2021 That's a good diagram, because if any one driver fails, it will still continue to function. However, it's 8 Ohms total: 8+8 in parallel = 4 (the pairs on left & right) 4+4 in series = 8 (left through to right is in series) It's still safe for your amp, BUT you'll get roughly half the Power 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
