Best Jazz case / bag for £50ish?

Guys loving my MM Jazz IV bass but concerned about my gig bag - it's just not macho enough (and barely fits the Jazz) so I needs a new one.

I doubt I could work with a hard case as it may not fit into my car but if it's cheap enough I'd consider it.

I've read the instrument sticky before it's mentioned, I just cant afford the kind of money that the top end solutions require.

So basically I'd consider affordable cases (if I'm happy they will fit in my car) or a decent gig bag.

So what would you guys recommend?

TIA.

The Bodygloove gig bags are very good and very protective. See Homer's post here for details:

There fairly heavy for a gig bag

If you wanted to go for a hardcase, there's a couple of second-hand Hiscox LiteFlites floating round the 'For Sale' section. I've just picked one up to keep a Jazz-shaped bass in and it's ace. Probably fit in your car just fine too, it's bass-shaped, not a big rectangular monstrosity. Round about the price you're after too.
