I guess so. Still: super strange that anyone would put a 1977 logo w/ serial on a '74 neck after refinishing. I've never seen anything even remotely like that before.

 

But, other than that: it still looks like a very nice and you obviously knew very well what you were purchasing. So: enjoy it :)
