Arabic scale

Recommended Posts

'The' Arabic scale is 1,b2,3,4,5,b6,7 so in C it is C Db E F G Ab B.

When you say chords, do you mean chords you can use this scale over or the particular chords that an arabic musician might use?

I just got back from the Sligo Jazz Project yesterday and was exposed to many a great scale by Dominique Dipiazza, I will put a few up on this site with a few licks and exercises when I get a chance.

Hi,thanks for the reply's
I was lookin at scales & chord's just to learn something different but it would be nice to learn some chord's that an arabic musician might use
