minnikin32 Posted February 11, 2009 Share Posted February 11, 2009 Hi, I'm Glenn Minnikin, I play bass in a North East Melodic Rock band called Minnikin (I didn't choose the name, beleive it or not) and have been playing bass for 12 years, which accounts for half my life! I'm into Dream Theater, Metallica, Motley Crue, Killswitch Engage, Alter Bridge, Deftones, Foo Fighters, Rush, Porcupine Tree and allsorts of other 80's, 90's and modern rock bands. My bass heros are Billy Sheehan, Victor Wooten, John Myung, Stuuuuuuu Hamm, TM Stevens, Bill Dickens and af course the late great Jaco. I have two Spector Euro basses (LX5 Black Cherry and EX6 Spalted Maple Gloss) which I ADORE, and I use Ampeg amps (SVT4-PRO, SVT610HLF) with a dbx 160A comp and Shure SLX wireless, not that exciting but gets the job done.
