Hi All

Thinking of selling my Lakland 44-01 to finance an upgrade to Markbass gear.

It's the same finsih as this one: http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/75971

Some photos here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/graham.riddl...ey=TlvWUUok9tA#

Serial number is 03021483 which makes it either March 2002 or Feb 2003 (can't remember how it's read).

Bought last year from ebay. (think the previous owner might be an BC'er now) it's in absolutely tip top condition and comes with a hard case (not and original Lakland case I'm afraid)

What do you think? is £400 asking too much?

Will accept less for trades for markbass gear (102P, STD104HR, LMII ideally)

Thanks for looking
Graham
I had one of these, exactly the same which I sold on ebay a couple of years ago. And then regretted it!

I have a feeling that this is the one! :)

Oh if I wasn't skint!
I bought this last Feb from a chap near Southampton, but no reason why it couldn't have been yours before that. I bet basschat could trace the lineage of most basses in Britain if we put our mind to it. :-)
Cheers

So what do you reckon is £400 reasonable for this?

I want a decent price but don't want to rip off BCers as I've had some good bargains myself fron here.

You asked for opinion...

I'm not saying that it isn't worth £400 but every bass has a price at which it 'will' sell and seeing as how you've not sold it straight away I'd say that £400 isn't quite the price for folks on here!

The daft thing is that basses advertised on BC can sit forever and be very good instruments at a very reasonable price but they either don't float the boat of those with money to spend or they do float the boat of people with empty pockets. :P

Dropping the price will eventually flush out a buyer but it depends on whether you are prepared to do that. ;)
