1967 Gibson EB-2 in Cherry Red.

Aside from a couple of tiny dings, this is virtually immaculate.

52 years old. All original (apart from an upgraded baritone switch - as nearly all of these have) complete with original hardshell case - also in excellent condition.

You'll not find a cleaner example. Slim neck, low action and perfect intonation. No set-up required. Fully working original string mute and complete with pickup cover.

Very reluctant sale to fund a Precision Bass. (No trades thank you. I've already bought the P).

Thanks for looking! Enjoy the pictures.

With the switch in the 'off' position, the tone is bright, clear and almost acoustic-sounding. The baritone switch adds a massive amount of thump - a huge sound. Like no other bass I own. I use it with the baritone switch permanently on. It's a big sound. Completely unique but totally useable.

Beautiful - I have a 1969 EB-2DC, they are sooooooo classy in the cherry finish :i-m_so_happy:

The baritone switch is (I believe) a capacitor "choke" that filters out most of the upper frequencies but leaves the bass and midrange thick and punchy.  Instant blues rock machine.  B|

Must have been a pretty special P bass to let this go - bump for vintage Gibbo goodness.
