Total Watts

  1. Short-scale. Condition 9.5/10 Internally/Externally all original (Except for upgraded varitone switch)
  2. Thanks Shaggy... it's more the fact that I also have a 1964 Epiphone Rivoli that comes to most gigs. I bought this thinking it'd be a great no.2 guitar. Trouble is it's too nice for most gigs.
  3. With the switch in the 'off' position, the tone is bright, clear and almost acoustic-sounding. The baritone switch adds a massive amount of thump - a huge sound. Like no other bass I own. I use it with the baritone switch permanently on. It's a big sound. Completely unique but totally useable.
  4. 1967 Gibson EB-2 in Cherry Red. Aside from a couple of tiny dings, this is virtually immaculate. 52 years old. All original (apart from an upgraded baritone switch - as nearly all of these have) complete with original hardshell case - also in excellent condition. You'll not find a cleaner example. Slim neck, low action and perfect intonation. No set-up required. Fully working original string mute and complete with pickup cover. Very reluctant sale to fund a Precision Bass. (No trades thank you. I've already bought the P). Thanks for looking! Enjoy the pictures.
  5. Up for sale is my Relic 'Parts' Precision Bass at a bargain price for a quick sale. What we have is an MJT custom body ($375 worth) in Tangerine with a beautiful relic job. The rest of the guitar was a Limelight bass. The neck is great. I had a Custom Shop relic 64 P and I MUCH preferred the Limelight neck hence why the CS went first. The pickguard is an original Fender guard from 1964 which came off another bass I own. It has a filled hole where an extra pot was added. The pickup, wiring, covers and reverse tuners are all as came on the Limelight instrument - not sure what they are but they all work/sound great. A lot of guitar for not a lot of money. Records very nicely. Can be heard in action here: https://thebluejaysuk.bandcamp.com/track/when-will-i-be-loved-3

  7. Sorry Rick... i'm an ignorer! Currently in Albania with awful wifi. Will take for £400. Can collect this wknd.
  8. Price Drop! £950 Bass is now with me in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
  9. If I still have it by then you're welcome to come and try it. Frustratingly, I was in Paris at the weekend.
  10. Hi Nico, the bass is also listed on eBay. Obviously for my own peace of mind I'd rather it sold to someone who could collect it. If it doesn't sell, I'll let you know. Regards, Chris
