WITHDRAWN Ibanez Blazer 1981 £400 Edinburgh

Original 1981 Ibanez Blazer Bass is good original condition.  It's a 38 year old bass so it's far from perfect. 

The pickguard has been changed and the wiring/pots renewed.  I still have the (cracked) pickguard that was on the bass when I bought it, complete with what I assume are the original electronics.

It has character.  I think they call it road worn these days. There are a few other marks, bumps and scrapes in the lacquer.  The worst is some sort of damage on the back covered up by tape.  It has been like this since I bought it 20 odd years ago.  It looks like a shallow gauge in the wood.

Currently strung with flats.

Comes with gig bag.

The frets are all in good condition. It is pretty low mileage in the twenty-odd years I've had it. 

I'll try to get a better photo of the tape.  Its been there since before I bought it so I have no intension of removing it now. It's surface damage, like a shaving of wood has been chipped off.

Hopefully that gives you a better idea.  It's not even one mm deep.  The tape seems to cover a much larger area than necessary.

These are fantastic bass's...

i reckon take the tape off as it seems like perfectly acceptable road worn scarring to me 🙂
