1978 Fender Jazz Bass.

jb78.thumb.jpg.08007fb24b6a6a75a045559bbb5fbc2e.jpg

Very good condition, includes original bridge cover, original scratch plate and screws, has had input jack replaced but will include original part.
Case for illustrative purposes.

Genuine reason for sale as I've got 2 other Jazz basses (MIM/CS) and it's a shame that this gets used least, so I'm being sensible.
I'll be sad to see it go but I'd like someone else to get some use out of it.

Has recently been set-up and restrung by KGB in Birkenhead.

No rush to sell, looking for offers in the region of £2000 - you are welcome to try it in person, I'm local to Chester/M56.
Not really looking for PX, but never say never.

Can supply further pics and info on request.

Oh my. That’s my favourite look for a jazz bass; 3TSB with no pickguard and an all-maple neck with white block inlays.

Going for a lie down 🤪

Hi all, for sale is my Korean Squier with serial number S975287 which dates it as Samick factory, 1989. It's a nicely yellowed white and looks more yellow than in the photos. It has been great both live and in the studio and the pick ups, which look original, have a high output compared to other  similar basses I have. It weighs 4kg or 8.8lbs. Schaller tuners, skunk stripe and some natural chips and scuffs as you'd expect from a used bass nearly 30 years old. On some notes it has a slight buzz from the truss rod but it doesn't affect the playing or recording of the instrument. It feels great and is very easy to play and has a great retro vibe. I love it but have other basses incoming and have to thin the herd. I will throw in a second hand case and will courier if needed at cost. Collection from Poole/Bournemouth area or a meet up. Thanks.
      Korea
KC and KV serial number prefixes are usually used on Crafted in Korea Squiers. S/E: The S and E serial number prefix Korean Squiers are from the late 1980s/early 1990s. S = Samick, E = Young Chang, E letter serial numbers were used on Young Chang's Fenix brand guitars.[6] The first number following the serial number prefix is the year.
The first guitars made in Korea are those with serial number written in silver E10 +5 digits (note 1 extra digit) possibly as early as 1986
      For example,
"E7 +5 digits with silver serial = made by Young Chang in 1987-88. "S9" = made by Samick in 1989. "E0" = made by Sung-Eum in 1990. "E1" (+5 digits) with black serial = made by Sung-Eum in 1991. There were also Korean Squier serials with no serial number prefix and 6 or 7 numbers and the first number is the year. Some late 80's and early 90's examples held a serial number with the prefix M followed by 7 numerals, although there is much that is not known about these guitars and their exact date of manufacture as Squier were undergoing a 'transitional' period at this time making precise dating difficult. They featured a high gloss maple neck with both rosewood and maple fretboard options and a slimmer 40mm body.

Up for sale goes my Tokai Jazz Sound TJB-45 bass from 1982. It's in great condition for its age and comes with thick padded made-in-Canada Levy's gigbag from the era.
Flat-sawn maple neck with curved dark rosewood fretboard is comfy, smooth and straight. Truss rod working as it should, frets show some signs of use but there is still a lot of meat in them. Pickups are non-original but great-sounding Bartolini dual-coils (hum-cancelling). As you can see there is no pickguard, I believe the standard Fender 60's JB pickuard will nicely fit. Currently strung with a new 45-100 set of Fender stainless steel flatwounds.
The weight is about 4,1 kg (9 lb) on my traveller scales.

PayPal payment possible (buyer covers the fee), shipping cost within EU would be £30. It will be well boxed and insured for shipping.

      Hi everyone!

I'm selling my stunning Atelier Z M245 with Bartolini Preamp.
It features ash body and maple neck. And this particular model comes with a Bartolini 2 band preamp (with active and push pull knob and passive tone control).
I bought it new in Japan in August 2017. I only played 2 gigs with it so it's in excellent condition.
It comes with a pair of pickup covers (silver and black).
This bass made me sell my FClef bass, and also a Fender Jazz Bass. It has that Fender 70's tone and the neck plays like butter.
I don't have the original gig bag, I'll send it with a non original case.
      The bass is in Barcelona.
Price: 2000 EUR. Now 1700 EUR

No trades, thank you, unless it's a Fender Precision Pino Palladino CS or a 5 string Fender Jazz Bass American Elite.

      You can hear it here:
