I think the GK got a mention, but I don't recall the Fender coming up, although in the last but one post by gsgbass on the [url="http://basschat.co.uk/topic/306930-best-amp-head-500w-to-1000w-youve-ever-owned-or-should-definitely-avoid/"]best amp head thread[/url] he's using a Fender Bassman and the very next post, as it happens - amazing coincidence, is by a GK MBFusion fan so they maybe able to share their thoughts with you and let you know a bit more about their amps? Hope that helps. PS have you considered the [url="https://www.andertons.co.uk/p/NEXUS-SLS/bass-amp-heads/laney-nexus-sls-500w-mini-bass-head"]Laney Nexus SLS[/url]? I've not come across anyone who has bought one of these yet on BC, but they do look like a lot of hybrid amp for the money and are British made. Still interested to find out what you're looking for in your next amp? If you ask him nicely Osiris has put together a really useful guide to some of the things we should be thinking through before getting a new amp; it's actually bloody brilliant / useful - I'm sure he'd be happy to PM it to you. Btw - how's the Promethean 3110 going? My back hasn't really been best pleased with me since I sold that to you!
