steviedee Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 Got the wee bass I found the barras market in Glasgow back from the luthier, fixed the crack replaced the bridge and planed the fretboard. Imho it looks great, apparently its bigger than a 1/4 body but smaller than 1/2. The luthier, who was brilliant, really liked it he had a cheaper version of the bass and a local jazzer has an almost identical bass, so he was knocked that there were three in such close proximity. Obviously it has a smaller body so less bass but it still packs a punch and I reckon amplified it will rock, and you can take it on the bus Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The low bridge position makes it look like quite a long scale for its body size - what's the string length like? Did you go with Ken in Portobello for the repairs then?
