So it's not something your average "fettler" can fix. I recently bought a Spector with a severely broken headstock - trip to our local luthier, Terry Chapman, and all is like new - you really wouldn't know. I'll get some photos done and post them. [/quote] Not outrageous! That is very reasonable money for a job like that, especially given the quality of the repair! Great to see a bass saved from becoming skip fodder!
