It can do a modern, punchy Humbucker-sound (you can get very very close to the "Tool" bass sound), a nice, growling J-Bass and even vintage Soul and Motown. I like the optics, too, hoever, it seems that they have discontinued this finish. Having owned an US-made L2000 I can honstely say that the Tributes are very very close in every respect.
