SWR Goliath 2 4x10

===================UPDATED LISTING======================

A quick bump to say that I still have a Goliath II 4x10 for sale. I sold one, and have decided to go the way of 15" cabs, so the other has to go now.

The one left for sale has a full set of original drivers in it, but the tweeter doesn't work - it looks like this might be because the fuse housing is loose but I can't guarantee it. Might be an easy fix. Personally I turn it off anyway so it never bothered me.

With this is mind, I'll happily take £120 for the cab. It's in North London waiting for you, guys.

==============ORIGINAL LISTING BELOW===========================

I'm assembling a new rig based around an old GK 800RB, so it's time for my trusted 1000RB to go. 500W into 4ohms, 350W into 8 ohms. SERIOUS amp, and everyone who's ever used it at gigs has praised it to high heaven. Comes in a battered SKB 4U rack case. Manual here www.gallien-krueger.com/manuals/1000RB.pdf

I've also got one more SWR cab than I need, so have a Goliath 2 4x10 with tweeter to go. 540W and 8ohms (I think). The carpet is torn and taped in places, but again this is a fantastic cab.

I was thinking 270 quid for the amp, 170 for the cab. 400 for both.

You will have to come to London, N7 to get these.

Pics and more details to follow if anyone's interested.

Thanks!

Here's a pic. You can buy either this cab, which has two Eminence Gammas in the top fitted by a previous owner and two oroginal drivers, or one with a full set of 4 original drivers. Same price either way.

Here's a pic of the cab with 4 original drivers. The carpet needs a hoover, and there's tape on the bottom edge. There's one plastic corner missing (rear bottom right). The drivers all look and sound good, and the tweeter responds well.

Do you want it, Marti?

Hi Steve

If it's in good working order and I can pick it up on Saturday or Sunday, yes please.

Does it have casters ?

Oops. Sorry to seem pedantic, but this is a 1000RB, not a 1001RB. So it's 3U. It weighs about the same, I think. It also doesn't bi-amp, because it's designed for full-range cabs.

Here's the correct manual:

Oooops, sorry about that!

I just glanced at your ad and thought I'd read 1001.

Nice to see the 800 is working out for you though :huh:

The 800RB is not there yet, but hopefully soon. It's in a repair shop having its power transformers changed.

1000RB still for sale!

Open to trades + cash your way on lightweight cabs.
