It really is a great bass - I started on a cheap Fender Precision copy many years ago (a Tanglewood) so this has always been my idea of a 'pure' classic rock bass so was an ambition of mine to own one. Orphix Posted July 16, 2016 Author Share Posted July 16, 2016 I don't have scales to weight it I'm afriad (except the kitchen variety!) but a quick google search tells me that for a [i]new[/i] Standard or American Standard Fender Precision 4-string variety, the weight will be between 8.5 to 9.5lbs (3.9 to 4.3kg).
