dannybuoy
Get the direct URL for your image and either put it between IMG tags: [CODE] [IMG]http://www.wotever.com/mypic.jpg[/IMG] [/CODE] Or if you are editing on a PC/Mac rather than mobile device, just click the image that looks like a polaroid and post the URL in there. I upload all mine to imgur.com. Dangerboy is no longer active on this forum but has/had the most amazing EGC chromed up jazz, looks like something from Terminator 2! If this thread gets traction I'll ping him and get him to post pics.
quimbymeat
Thanks for the help! I will get on it when I get home. I've actually already bought a bass from dangerboy. I got my #994 black neck Bean from him. Lovely guy who knows his stuff.
Passinwind
These days I mostly just use amps that I built myself. There's an overview on those builds here: [url="http://www.passinwind.com"]http://www.passinwind.com[/url]. I still have a scary noise toy rack that I use with my fretless Bean occasionally though: So that's a Boss GX-700 modeler with a heavily modded Hafler T-2 tube preamp in its EFX loop, then a DIY Fender tone stack-based preamp for post-EFX EQ. All of this goes either in one of my amps' parallel EFX loop, or to a whole separate rig for dirty sounds and delay ambience. And here's an example of slide bass on the Bean, with a looped rhythm track of the Bean and live drums: [url="https://soundcloud.com/passinwind/terminationdust"]https://soundcloud.c...terminationdust[/url] That's a fEARful 12/6 cab in the slide bass recording BTW. I have an AudioKinesis Thunderchild 112 instead these days that I use for most of my typically low key gigs. Alan Fourstrings
Kramer XKB-10 Kramer XL-9 with EMG pickups I played these two basses from 1981 to 1999, then I had enough of these neck diving and back breaking basses. The amp I used was a Trace Elliot AH250 (Mark IV) with the very first Trace Elliot 4x10" sealed cabs. TONE HEAVEN !!!!! By the way my old AH250 is still operational! - but VERY heavy to move.
