Kramer XKB-10 Kramer XL-9 with EMG pickups I played these two basses from 1981 to 1999, then I had enough of these neck diving and back breaking basses. The amp I used was a Trace Elliot AH250 (Mark IV) with the very first Trace Elliot 4x10" sealed cabs. TONE HEAVEN !!!!! By the way my old AH250 is still operational! - but VERY heavy to move.

I can see from the picture that it's a regular 2 octave bolt on neck. As for the body form, well, not as extreme as the Buzzard B1. But it's not yet the one piece of carbon B3 we've been waiting for some years now. And by the way, the Buzzard B1 is ugly only when it's laying on the table, once you've strung her, it's a well designed instrument with a rather tiny and elegant body and a long neck - the only difficulty being to reach out for the G tuner. Something like this, I suppose... Go for it! This is the best setup I have for years. The QSC PLX and the SWR MM preamp together are perfect.

Yes, but very easy to use once you understand the layout. It's in fact a classic setup with Blend, Volume, Treble, Bass. And the 4 knobs near the output jack are: semi-parametric for high, and semi-parametric for low. The 2 toggles are to switch the pickups from humbucker to single coil.
