OK I spent some money on this bass, but I didn't buy it because of Entwistle, but because it was a real masterpiece built by Rob Green;
this complex form out of one mould was a real challenge, and I'm still waiting for someone else to build a bass like this with carbon fiber!
This one was the prototype, no serial number, no roman inlays, slightly different electronics, played and tested by John Entwistle.
But I bought this Buzzard to play it live, and I take it to gigs when the stage is large enough, you're right, I don't want to hurt anybody .
The sound of a Status Buzzard 1 is ... well something completely different from any other bass, wood or carbon made.
It's not a studio bass, it's the most terrifying bass for live gigs and played VERY LOUD!
