A few noodles using Philharmonik. The first three with the 'normal' mode; one can hear the awful slurring due to lousy fingering on my part. The instrument must be tuned spot on, I find. The last four are using the 'chromatic' mode, where pitch bending doesn't occur (harp, string section...)...
I've no idea if this will help anyone, but the gadget does what I want to use it for.I'm keeping it (but keeping my keyboard, too..!).

Thank's for that.

As we were looking for adding CC#'s and taking advantage of expression maps, articulations, etc, we decided to go another route.
USB breath controller, along with our trusted old AKAI MidiMix (slider controller).

There are plenty of good reviews around, plus it has been tested with Omnisphere, Kontakt, VSL and Spitfrire Audio.

I recently mastered an album with Carl Stanbridge producing plus playing bass guitar and double bass (he's probably on here, hi Carl!). We got to a song where I said I liked the sound of the double bass, but turns out it was an Epiphone Jack Casady. Fooled me completely even after decades of working with sound, the double whammy is of course that I have to have one now.
