Hi, ive decided to sell my USA made tobias growler bass. I picked this up from this very forum last month and although it is a great bass, Ive got to be realistic and move it on as I'm a jazz bass guy. It is usa made by gibson, has a wenge fretboard, maple neck with ash body. It's incredibly light especially compared to my US jazz! It has a great musicman-ish sound thanks to the quad coil Bart pickup (also comes with a spare Seymour Duncan pickup). The preamp has been replaced (by a previous owner) and by the look of it its a Seymour Duncan 2 band. This means the two toggle switches and one knob aren't connected, currently wired balance,vol,stack bass treble. I've replaced the 9v battery and restrung with a set of ghs flea strings. I'm passing this on for the same bargain price I payed for it, which includes the original hardcase! Collection prefered but can post at buyers cost. Mainly after sale but feel free to pm any trades, don't be offended if I say no :) based in Gosport, Hampshire.

Decided that as I need a decent second bass for a different tuning, I'm now putting this up for trade only. I'm after either a jazz/pj but try me with anything as long as it's a jazz size nut. Cash adjustment either way. Pm me thanks!

Back up! Will sell at 375 or 350 without the spare pickup, would also trade for a jazz bass. Must be good quality so thinking jap/usa and can obviously add cash as required. Would prefer a UK sale or meet up for trades. Should of put on the first post that the rear cavity cover isn't original (it's made from a scratchplate) I only noticed this when I changed the battery
