Not really upbeat Disco, but I just noticed that Johnny Mathis & Deniece Williams tune, 'Too Much, Too Little, Too Late'. Gorgeous tune.

Yes, great tune. Mathis and in a similar vein,  Lou Rawls, had one foot in MoR and one in a much cooler camp!
