funkyjimbob Posted March 13, 2016 Share Posted March 13, 2016 HI, I have recently purchased a Fender Jazz American Deluxe 5 for a great price and have noticed that there is a very large difference in output between the two pickups. The Neck pickup is loud as expected but when I switch to the bridge pickup the output is extremely thin. It this normal for these pickups? A tech friend had a brief look at it and said all seemed to be fine with the soldering etc. I know nothing about these pickups so any advice would be great. I've had some Aguilar hum cancelling pickups before that were very good in my opinion. I might get some for a 5er I've got coming myself.
