He doesn't speak English, so had to use Bing Translator. His latest (translated) reply :- " Good evening Apparently you tell me that my bass is not a Fender! This is very weird, unless the renowned stores sell fake Fender in Belgium... I bought it new. May be it is not the years 1978, may be 1980... But I can assure you that personally for having bought it in store and have played it for many years I can tell you it's an excellent bass and origin.
