DanEly Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 So I got a brand new Fender Super Bassman in the post today... Plugged it all in, flicked the power switch on, nothing. Absolutely nothing. No red jewel, just a fairly low (and alarming) hum along with no sound when flicked out of standby. Have I missed something or have I landed my self a lemon, any ideas? Even if you had got it working, if it's been dropped there's no way of knowing what other damage has been done that would come back to bite you in the arse a year or two down the line.
