And a review from Harmony Central.

This is the highest quality and loudest Ampeg bass cabs on the market. It handles anying up to 1500W / 3000W peak at 4ohms, has nuetrik connectors as well as TR connectors, a horn control on the back which controls two High Frequency drivers (one out of each set of 4 10" speakers).

As far as I can tell, Ampeg don't sell these anymore and I can't find them anywhere first or second hand. If anyone decides to do research and finds them anywhere, please let me know.

This cab has been gigged... 4 of the speakers have been replaced, and there are a few scuff / scratch marks on the tolex (one rather large one), but it still works as new and it's got a bloody lovely tone. I was considering keeping it for my recording studio, but most people bring in their own amps anyway.

Been told this particular cab has been used by the following artists, but of course, I can't be sure :)
Robin Guy - drummer for Bruce Dickinson solo project from Iron maiden, also played drums for Faith no More on TOTP 1998. Now plays for Rachel Stamp
Jarvis Cocker - the guy from Pulp who everyone knows
Stan armstrong - from The Dickies, massive punk band
The Bass player from The Smiths - cant remember his name.
Paul McGuigan - Ex Oasis bass player now does session work with abbey road studios.
My Chemical Romance Tour and was also used buy Hunter from AFI as his f***ed up in Berlin
a few others but you will get bored,
I'm looking for £1,200 ovno. I can provide pictures of it if you want, and will deliver anywhere between Blackpool & Manchester for free (as long as the offer is reasonable).

If interested, or you want to give it a go, give me a call on 07740 354453.

Thanks for that Ste :)

I'm not really willing to negotiate prices on this as I've no need to sell it really, but I'm more than willing to negotiate for some decent replacement cabs, even if they're not worth the same.

I'm currently looking in to the Eden cabs and seeing if I can match my head's outputs / impedance to different configurations. I run an SVT-4 PRO.
