I wouldn't touch it without having it looked at by a specialist woodworker to check how sound the repair is. Sibob Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 (edited) It might be that when they replaced the saddles (clearly replacements), they put the screws through the string holes, and the string ball ends through the saddle screw holes!? Wouldn't that shift everything over a bit!?[/quote] the ball ends look the right way round. why the E string is out of its saddle groove is odd. maybe it's a loose fit at the neck pocket, and the neck's moved over.
