Broadbandcorpse Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 I am buying a bass to modify and also use to gig but I'm stuck between two: Harley Benton JB-75 in Natural [attachment=169071:224321.jpg] or J&D JB Vintage 1975 in Natural [attachment=169072:201563_l.jpg] Both basses are in a natural finish with a maple neck and traditional Jazz controls but the Harley Benton is an Ash body and the J&D is an Alder body so It would be great just to get some opinions from people about the Body wood. Lozz196 Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 From my experience with ash and alder bodied Precisions, the ash Precisions I`ve had have sounded more aggresive than the alder ones.
