I reckon it'll go for around a grand - plenty of time for price to rise yet.

I wondered whether it might slip under the radar a bit cos it's not very well listed...I'll be watching anyway just didn't want to be competing with a bc brother ;)

I'm in Crowthorne...Camberley about ten minutes. Will be ok to collect if you win. I just collected/shipped a 65 Amps 1x15 cabinet for another member here.

Excellent - that's a good price in the end. I was surprised it didn't hit £900 as they rarely go below this.

Just shows how much a decent description and a willingness to post can cost someone - in this case a good £200 or so!

In fact I was bidding on a '75 today and it sold for £906 so that's a perfect example of the difference (although a '75 will usually sell for a bit more than a '78) :)

I thought it a good price too matey :)

willingness to post and giving the poor thing a decent title in the first place makes a huge difference! I reckon a good few folks will have skipped past it assuming it was a battered MIM or something...ah well!

Did you win the '75 btw?

No - I set a limit of £900 and just got outbid. However there was a lot of last minute activity so I think it would have gone higher if I'd kept bidding.

wise man, do the homework, set your limit and stick to it, if some excited chap gets click happy that's his problem ;)

mine was a last second 'I can't believe it's going to go for this much so I might as well try a cheeky next tenner bid', I was very susprised when I won it :)

I was bidding on something else that was 'mine' at £695 with 4 seconds to go - it went for over £1,300!

It's never 'mine' until that hammer falls. Some of the best bargains i've ever seen at auctions were with a few seconds to go.
