and another Bass Collection, but not MIJ

This is an SB301, it seems. But it is not stamped "Made in Japan". I believe there were moves afoot at Nanyo to move production to Korea just before they went bust. This may be a Korean prototype.

I have an SB301 like this, also from a seller in Bristol. It's nice for what it is, but not quite MIJ-standard.

Hmmm,
I thought the 301 was the non active earlier version of the 310 .. Or is it active? I played a beaten up one last year in a shop that was up for £245 , and it sold at that !

Check my old posts , i am sure i posted up the nanyo 1996 catalog for the 3 series
