For sale is my fretless, hand built by Jon Letts and finished in May last year. Condition is near mint apart from 2 dings on the back of the neck (acquired at its first gig!) and it has seen only a handful of gigs. The sound is quite something, very open with lots detail throughout the spectrum and very even across the strings. The low B is the best that I've ever played, even with flats it has strong presence and is very useable up to G (in my opinion no low B is useable past E).

The electronics are minimal: one large pick-up with 2 single coils and a kill switch.

The bridge is made from wenge and has very little wear, I believe the nut is also wenge. String spacing is 16mm.

Why sell it? For me, it's too much of a strain on my arm to play for a long time (most of my gigs are 3-4 hours) coupled with a hefty tax bill and some unexpected expenses.

Case and comfort strap will be included in the sale.

Trades Considered: a nice P-bass, or a 34" scale 5-string
