Roger2611 Posted January 22, 2014 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Hello all I currently use Cubase SE on the pc, our drummer has just sent through 3 tracks via dropbox, I have started a new project and pulled the tracks from dropbox to cubase, now I seem to have a problem, the drum track and guitar track line up perfectly but the guide vocal track just doesn't line up and I can't get it to line up I need the guide vocal to know where I am in the song, the drummer must have had them lined up as did the guitarist, am I doing something wrong? OldG Posted January 23, 2014 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Get a lined up copy from the drummer or guitarist and place in your project > line up your guitar drum tracks > drop a marker exactly where the vocal comes in > line up your copy of the vocal to the marker > delete lined up copy from project... redstriper Posted January 23, 2014 Share Posted January 23, 2014 The drummer needs to remix the vocal track in sync with the drums and send you that. He needs to have the timeline in cubase (blue line at the top) set to the full song and not just the vocal track when he renders each track.
