Clarky Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) I got these strings a month or two ago from BC'er Rabbie and really like them (got loads of compliments at the Bluegrass 'Sorefingers' weekend on the tone). However, I wanted something a little more dark and gut-like so I am now using Velvet Animas, the (twice as expensive, ouch) thicker cousins of Blues. The strings are in good condition and I have cleaned them up with toothpaste and wet rag to restore much of their copper-y brightness (makes no odds to sound, they just look more shiny!) I'd be willing to trade them back for these Blues so I have a set when these Animas finally wear out (which could still be a long while). PM me if you're interested and we can work something out.
