Posted this in build diaries but maybe this is the better forum to show it off :)

Just thought I'd share my finalised project,

Started off as a bog standard Epi Thunderbird - bought from a fellow basschatter - (not the classic IV pro) mainly due to the fact that the input jack is front facing - more authentic looking.

I fitted the following:

Hipshot HB6C Tuners
Hipshot Supertone Bridge
Custom made '66 Thunderbuckers
Gibson truss rod cover
Gibson tophat volume and tone knobs
Ernie Ball Power Slinkys

Looks the business now. I may be tempted to get a Classic IV pro in the future and transfer all the hardware to that.

I'd like to know what you think!

Love the pickups and surrounds - the look's very close to what I was going for with my Thunderland, although mine are just the covers and rings over Dingwall pups, and I couldn't find split older-style stacked knobs anywhere...

How do the pups sound?

Not had chance to play it through the orange yet with some volume but so far the sound is sweet. Clear and punchy

Looks the business mate, and as for your idea of transferring the hardware onto a Classic Pro, Go for it. :) There's a Bargain here.
