I love these cabs, and if they don't sell it'll be no great hardship to hang on to them - but I'm as susceptible to GAS as the next guy, and after much consideration I've decided I really want to try going Barefaced...

Both cabs in very good condition - they've been used for gigging and rehearsals for the last couple of years, but have been well looked after, and come with padded soft covers by Hotcovers.

Specs from Markbass are easy to check up on, as are independent user reviews - but the basics are that they're 43cm cubes, weighing 17kg each (an easy, one-handed lift, to the point that I often carry one in each hand with my bass on my back) - yet they sound huge - warmer and richer than you'd expect - certainly more so than other, larger MB rigs I've owned in the past (410, 210). Great punch and characteristically clean and clear. Anyone in the area is welcome to come and give them a try...

[s]£500 [/s] [s]£435 [/s]£400 each[s] or[/s] [s]£950[/s] [s]£850 for both[/s]

Price given is for collection in person from York. Happy to send by post/courier - P&P not included.

Thanks for looking.

No interest in these lovely cabs? I'm awarding myself a bump.

Still not exactly desperate to sell, as they're great on so many levels - but gotta keep finding ways to vent the old GAS! I really like the idea of trying Barefaced, or the great-looking, new, red Vanderkley 12s....

Maybe i've pitched the price too high? Well, I'm open to serious offers, but any deal is going to have to make some kind of sense for me too!

Can't you? They're pretty small. But then I don't know how small an A3 boot is...

Had to change from a 115HR to a Barefaced Compact cos the bloody thing wouldn't fit when I downsized from a Passat Estate. Bugger, lm one of those who loved the MB cab coupled with a MB amp.

Still looking for a sale... Or maybe trade for another cab - particularly interested in any of several Barefaced options (Compact, Big Baby etc) And open to other trade suggestions too, if you have a high quality, lightweight cab to offer. Not in need of instruments right now, but might just be tempted by the right amp (Markbass tube 500/800 perhaps?)...

Anyway, it's a Bump from me...
