THIS IS NOW SOLD!

Hi folks,

Up for grabs is a brand new Warwick BC300 combo. I was lucky enough to win this as part of a recent giveaway competition and while I feel very luck to have received it, it just isn't going to get used over my EBS/Barefaced rig and is far too powerful to replace my home practice setup.

The combo is immaculate and has had less than 15 minutes use in my front room the day it arrived, purely to make sure it worked. It is no longer boxed as the box got wet in transit and was not in a good way so I disposed of it. The amp is mint without a mark on it. Sounds huge and is bloody LOUD! 300w into a 15" plus horn. Graphic EQ, Compressor, Headphone out. Great tone.

As this is not a great use to me I think it's only fair I pass it on at a bargain price to a new owner. GAK at similar stores seem to be asking around £550 for this beauty so I'll ask £300 collected form Nottingham. Thats £250 off for 15 minutes use! I am not prepared to ship this as the original box is no longer here and it's too much hassle to find a new box to fit it in. At £300 you can afford some petrol for a new amp! ;-)

Has the manual (still sealed) and both Euro & UK power cables.

I note the positioning of the carry handles invites sharing the load with a fellow band member - cunning!

This was the first thing I remarked on when it arrived. As the box had to be thrown away due to it getting really wet I had a colleague help me bring it home form the office where it was delivered. We were carrying it to his car and I said "It makes huge difference having handles like this. Usually combo's have a single handle on top". It's such a simple and obvious feature... but makes a difference. It's easier to move it on your own this way compared to the single handle too IMO. Especially when it's not a 'super light weight' amp.

Smart looking pieces of kit these new Warwick amps :)

Pretty damn smart sounding too. They did some serious work on the pre-amp's for these compared to other Warwick amps I've tried. Night and day really. This seems to fit somewhere between an Ampeg and an Aggie - serious punch and a solid rock tone, but with some unexpected clarity and definition.

Yes, you can have 2 basses connected at once, though the input gain on both inputs is different (one for active and one or passive) so you'd need to level out the instruments.

I've had had it to max - it's in my front room and once the knob is even close to half way up the windows are shaking... So I can't tell you how clean it is up loud... Though that demo seems very accurate in terms of everything else.

UPDATE: There is someone coming to try this out on Friday evening so this is kinda' sold pending approval on Friday.
