I think they`re great basses, but not keen on fake relicing, so this could be a solution to anyone wanting a great playing/sounding bass, but not liking all the other malarkey. Also a particular lady was placing the winning bid on a lot of his sales ie.....shady dealing. Sells a lot of nice guitars on eBay some are modified etc. I think this chip repair Is a really good idea. I hope it works out for him.
