Some folks spend hundreds on relicing. There is also the other option. :D

Without any sarcasm at all, I wonder if anyones been tempted to do this on a Roadworn? I think they`re great basses, but not keen on fake relicing, so this could be a solution to anyone wanting a great playing/sounding bass, but not liking all the other malarkey.

why do people like the 'worn' look?

its like going to a job interview for CEO of apple in a really sh*tty crap looking rusty volvo from like 1970

people cant take you seriously

i mean, if i was to buy an instrument which looks like a pile of sh*t, i'd ask for a discount because of the piss poor condition its in!!

We've had this guy on before. Someone Sussed that he was selling a lot of guitars twice. Also a particular lady was placing the winning bid on a lot of his sales ie.....shady dealing. Sells a lot of nice guitars on eBay some are modified etc. I think this chip repair Is a really good idea. I hope it works out for him.
