Sold Crowther Audio dble Hotcake xlf - custom made for myself by Paul Crowther, it's the best bass overdrive/distortion pedal i've played (and i've had lots and lots). It is basically two hotcakes in one housing, each voiced slightly differently. It is the xlf version voiced for bass guitar so it holds the bottom end, but no matter how heavy you dial in the overdrive/distortion the note still remains clear.Good for slight crunch, clean boost or with both sides of the pedal switched on at the same time...distortion insanity! It's in excellent condition with the original box

Sold Countryman Type 85 DI box - Pro DI box - no more dodgy venue's fuzzy, cheap DI's, bring a decent one with you instead!
"How do you send the purest, warmest and most natural signal out of a high-impedance instrument to a balanced mic input at the console? Countryman's Type 85 Direct Interface box.
Reflecting the ultimate engineering and highest-quality materials, the Type 85 DI Box adds nothing and removes nothing from the instrument's signal. No distortion. No electronic hum or buzz. No loss of dynamic range. It's the only active direct box that delivers such a clear, strong, warm signal to the mixer" (from the Countryman website) - Great condition, original box is tatty but the DI is mint

yeah the Countryman is a great DI. I became fed up with being given such crap DI boxes in venues, that distorted my sound, so i bought a decent one. Never thought of putting it between the head and cab, sound like a good idea for valve amps.
Considering your bass is 99% of the time DI'd, so it's what the crowd are hearing out front and not the amp, i'm suprised more bass players aren't more into their DI's? The ones fitted in most amps are normally a bit cheap and nasty.
