It is basically two hotcakes in one housing, each voiced slightly differently. I became fed up with being given such crap DI boxes in venues, that distorted my sound, so i bought a decent one. Never thought of putting it between the head and cab, sound like a good idea for valve amps. Considering your bass is 99% of the time DI'd, so it's what the crowd are hearing out front and not the amp, i'm suprised more bass players aren't more into their DI's?
