Sean Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 (edited) I have an immaculate boxed "as new" red BB424 that has had fret levelling, dressing and crowning done and a full set up including the nut being recut. It plays amazingly and has a super low action with no fret buzz. There's a lot of work gone into this bass to make it play so well and I'm confident there aren't many instruments in this price range playing as well as this one. I took this bass to the Shuker maintenance course and turned it from a good instrument into a superb bass guitar. The man himself supervised every step of the way and commented on how well this instrument turned out. Stonking instrument. As always you're welcome to try before buying, I'm based in Gloucester.
