DanOwens
Hey guys, Following AlexClaber's advice, I mounted my 1x15 Tech cab onto an angled stand, pointing directly at my ears to get the full range. Problem is, where do I put my LMK250? It's on the floor at the mo and totally unaccessible!! I could put some velcro hook to the bottom of the amp, but has anyone done this? Will it ruin the cab's cover? There's nothing at the back to stop it sliding back when I put it on top, and I can't put something there (like a piece of ply) as it'll block the speakon inputs on the cab and the amp. Post your solutions please gents!!! Dan
Musky
If there are side handles on your cab you could use something like luggage straps or bungies to hold it on.
Mottlefeeder
A bit of sheet metal bent down at the front and up at the back would hook onto the front of the speaker cab, and the back of the amp. You would need to make sure that the up and down flanges were sized not to obstruct anything they shouldn't.
bass_ferret
Thats why most bass cabs are flat!
andyonbass
Do you reckon something like this Non Slip Grip Mat from Maplins, would work? I've got one on my car dash, and it keeps all manner of junk from falling on the floor! Depends on the angle, I expect. Only a fiver and you can cut it to size
DanOwens
Mottlefeeder: It's a great suggestion, and I hadn't thought about utilising the front of the cab but the Tech cab has a curved front so there'd be protruding corners. Not that I'm a Health & Safety nut, but I'd fear for my fragile ickle fingers!! Andyonbass: Good idea! The permanace of velcro as putting me off,and this resovles that issue!!! Off to Maplins!!!
