Help please, after going thro old photo albums i came across this pic from mid to late 70's maybe into the 80's, needless to say it was the days of glam rock .

It was a great bass to play and very ''basic'' in appearance but i cant remember what model it was . Please can someone identify it and put me out my misery.

Info as follows - Fender Precision, creamy / white perloid finish , no scratch plate , jack socket on bottom edge , black headstock , pickup configuration as normal precision .

CRAP !!!!!!!! Difficulty uploading image

Welcome, Nick.

This is a temporary site issue.
In the mean time we could always volunteer and put you out of your misery the traditional way.

Only kidding of course. We're far too creative to use the traditional way.

Anyway, hope you get something out of this site.

Enjoy!

best,
bert

Welcome to the site! By the sound of things you had a PB-551, but the side mounted jack and black headstock definitely indicates mid-eighties.

Edit: Anything like the one here?
