I had it from its original owner in Germany, and it still has the German shop sticker on the back of the headstock: [IMG]http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m496/h4ppyjack/Hofner%20vintage%20instruments/Hofner%20500%201%201964%20SOLD/DSCF3363.jpg[/IMG] Note the 1-piece back of the body; Hofner only did this for a year or so before reverting to the original 2-piece design.
