I want to try and get a brown tortie plate made for this, so that's one thing. The bigger issue (yeah, really life threatening ) is the plastic cover for the neck woofer pick up. I know there is no chance of a tortie, but can anybody point me in the right direction for a black or chrome one please? Dimensions length 9cm/ 3.5 inch, width 5.4 cm/2.25 inch, depth 0.8cm/ 10/32's of an inch. Just to make it trickier it is hollow inside and has 4 screw holes, photos attached. Not much chance I know, but a man's gotta try . Fibreglass would be the obvious material , but rubber is a possibilty , even araldite . To save cost I would make a mould by pressing the old one into plaster-of-paris and then take it to a local surf board maker ( there are a few down here in Jersey ) , or a fibreglass roofer .
