Very punchy, a lot of clarity that can be restrained with the tone controls, each note has a real presence. Anyone who has put a Precision up against one of these will know what I am talking about. KennysFord Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 !00% agree with FlatEric on that, they do have a fantastic punch and the notes really jump out all the way to the top. Again, out of all the basses I've owned the Blazer is the only one where the tone has given me goosebumps at a gig. I've bought and sold quite a few mid priced Basses since the Blazer arrived just to see if I could improve on it to the point that I could finally afford an actual Fender Precision earlier this year albeit an MIJ.
