I would agree if the the for sale section was saturated in dodgy looking posts, but i don't think it is. I sold a Spector recently and stuck around more than I used to and I am really enjoying it here. I visit regularly each day. Yesterday, I bought a Warwick from a member here. I agree that it would weed out some of the chaff, but post count cannot be easily correlated with reliability as a seller. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ped Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 As long as the buyer is careful you'll be OK. Lots of members find us because they are looking for somewhere to sell gear. As others have said, having posted a few times on the forum is no gaurantee as to the seller's credentials. All deals should be entered into with the same level of dilligence and I would recommend everyone to read the marketplace guidelines before buying ANYTHING from ANYONE on ANY forum, weather they are 10,000 posts in or 10.
