EmmettC Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Hi there, I'm a newbie and I've mostly been brought here in search of an American G&L2500, but it seems like a nice place so I think I'll stick around if you'll have me. I have a few basses, and I like a deep rich sound, with some nice highs to cut through the rest of the band. Nothing new there. I play lots of styles, but I really love funky fingerstyle, I like Gabe Nelson from Cake, his sound and style is what I aim for. I play in a few bands, but my main band recently has been Metaltech, a techno/rock crossover, which is great because it gives me lots of freedom to experiment with every style from slap to thumping root notes.
