zigmondo Posted October 12, 2011 Share Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) This bass is now SOLD, subject to the usual clinking. Yes, the Jaco-esque fretless one: I'll assume you already know the spec. I've had it upgraded as follows: factory 500K lin(honestly) pots replaced with 250K log throughout, along with Wizard 64 pickups. I've retained the .043 cap, strung it with Status Hotwire half-wound .40s; the sound is wider, more well-balanced yet darker than its previous factory incarnation. You're aware that this bass bats above its average but I'll not gild the lily as despite its superior sound it is still a far eastern import of course. I'm selling this as my Status more than covers my, er, bases, quite adequately...thus priced at a friendly £120, which is quite less than I paid here for it as stock.
