The Burpster Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) This bass I bought from Beedster in '08 and owned it happily 'til last year when my best mate and geetard bought it from me. As a dyed in the wool 6 string player he fancied the odd noodle and really liked this one so persuaded me to let it go. sadly after playing it a few times in earnest he has now found out it causes him some discomfort to play bass so would like to make it available for someone else to enjoy. I would have it back but dont like the narrow neck (1-1/2 nut width) and really dont need it now I have the fretless PRS. These are rarer that rockin' hoss poo in the UK and not many more in the US either, they do not come up for sale on either here or ebay. Set up by me, it is a good low fast action and produces a lovely tone with the nylon flatwounds that are on it. It is in excellent condition, and has the Ovation HSC with it.
