151 NOW SOLD...
102p sold /b]

So I'm finally ending my love affair with Mark Bass (at least for now)!

I love the warmth and clarity on these speakers and they have done me well for nearly 5 years now!

However with my back getting worse I'm downsizing a little. I picked up a Vanderkley EXT112 from Mark at Bass Direct last week and absolutely love it! so powerful across the whole spectrum!...It seems speaker design has come on a bit since I last made any purchases! I'm gonna pick up a 2nd 112 od BigJim on here next week and that will be my rig!....

Anyway, the speakers......

I'm sure you all know about these, they have practically become the industry standard for bassists of all styles!...here's a link to the blurb on the Mark Bass site

Standard 115HR - http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=30

Traveller 102P - http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=37

I am a full time working musician so the speakers have been used regularly since I have owned them. Aesthetically they are not perfect, having unsurprisingly picked up a few scuffs over the years (shown in pics). notabley the casters on the corners are scuffed and the front grill of the 102 is a little scuffed.

The sound however is still as uncompromising as the day I bought them! never had any problem with them at all and they have provided ample power for gigs from little pubs up to the o2 and Sheperds Bush Empire...

If you want any more info drop me a PM.

New gear dave!!... I'm gutted we're not playing together on the 6th now :-(

I've know Dave for years, he's an absolute nightmare and distrustful.. :-)

Jokes aside - top lad, I gig with him regularly and you'll have no problem buying gear from him. One of a very short list of guys I would lend any of my gear because he looks after his stuff..

Also This stuff is great
Quite interested in the 102P. Is it 4 or 8 ohms? - the website states they do a 4 and 8 ohm version. Is it possible to come and try it?
It's 8 Ohms...Always been used with the 15 to get 4 ohms.

You're more than welcome to come and try it.

Drop me a PM

Dave
